Snake Criss-Cross

The Snake Criss-Cross is a puzzle type invented by Craig Kasper. It made its commercial debut in the Spring 2015 issue of Will Shortz's WordPlay, which was sadly the final issue of the short-lived magazine. I had seen an earlier version of the puzzle that Craig had brought to the 2014 NPL Convention in Portland, Maine, and this inspired me to write my own. It's a fun type to construct, and the process reminds me of writing a Pathfinder, but it's easy to let the grid sprawl out of control. I made sure this one would fit in a 20x20 square.
